Uğur Mumcu Kültür Merkezi

The cultural center is located on Şeyh Şamil Caddesi in Uğur Mumcu Mahallesi, in the north of Kartal, and is owned by Kartal Municipality. The building hosts art courses, while the hall is used for theater, children's plays, concerts, and commemoration programs. With a seating capacity of about 340, it is a medium-sized stage on a neighborhood scale. The seats are arranged in 14 rows, from A to N, and are divided into two blocks by a central aisle. Because there are a limited number of rows, the distance to the stage remains relatively short; even small children can comfortably watch the play from the back rows. The metro line is not nearby: the M4's Soğanlık and Kartal stations are about 3 kilometers away, and reaching them requires a short transfer by bus or taxi. Those coming by car can reach the center via Şeyh Şamil Caddesi.
