Sahne Dragos

Sahne Dragos, located inside Cumhuriyet Parkı in Maltepe, right next to the pond where swans swim, has been welcoming audiences since January 2023. The 401-seat hall hosts adult and children's plays, concerts, stand-up nights, one-person shows, talks and seminars. The stage is 13 meters wide, 7 meters deep and 4.5 meters high, making it suitable for both large-cast plays and concerts. For lighting, the venue uses profile and Fresnel spotlights along with moving LED fixtures; for sound, it uses a digital mixer and line array speakers. Thanks to its projection and screen system, video shows and presentations can also be staged. Children's shows are a regular part of the programme, and because the hall is inside the park, young audience members can also spend time outdoors before the performance. Visitors arriving by public transport can get off at Esenkent station on the M4 Kadıköy–Sabiha Gökçen line or at Cevizli station on Marmaray and walk about 10 minutes to the venue; Cevizli station is around 700 meters away. The venue has a parking lot for 150 vehicles. Before a show, guests can take a short walk along the pond's edge, and after a performance, they can stroll through the park.
