Mavi Uçurtma Komedi Tiyatrosu (MU Sahne)

Inside Mozaik Çarşı, overlooking Meriç Caddesi in Ataşehir, Mavi Uçurtma Tiyatrosu has been staging comedy plays for children and adults since 1998, operating in its own hall. The company is known for its children's plays; the theatre also offers private weekday performances for schools and organizations, as well as theatre classes for children and adults. The hall is small in scale: a single red-carpeted aisle runs through the middle, with dark-colored rows of seats on either side, a low wooden stage at the front, and a dark curtain at the back. Because the stage is close to the audience, even young children can easily follow the show. The foyer in front of the hall has sofas, tables and chairs, where families can wait before the performance begins. The nearest metro station to Mozaik Çarşı is Kayışdağı on the M8 line, approximately 600 meters away, a walk of no more than ten minutes. Bus and minibus routes departing from Kadıköy, Üsküdar and Ümraniye also serve the arcade. For those arriving by car, the arcade has parking facilities.
