Kozyatağı Kültür Merkezi Gönül Ülkü ve Gazanfer Özcan Sahnesi

The four-story cultural center of Kadıköy Municipality in Kozyatağı, on Buket Street next to Baytur Residences, has been open since April 24, 2010. The Gönül Ülkü and Gazanfer Özcan Stage is the building's 400-seat main hall, where adult plays, children's theater, concerts, ballet and talks are held. In its first five years alone, the center staged more than 1,300 plays. The building also has a 200-seat conference hall and meeting rooms. The red upholstered seats are arranged in tiers toward the stage. The stage, 12.5 meters wide and 17 meters deep, comfortably accommodates decorated productions and ballet performances. The foyer also has its own sound system. Children's theater has a regular place in the hall's program. Food and drinks other than water are not allowed in the hall. Latecomers are admitted only during the first 15 minutes of the performance. For rail travel, the nearest option is Ayşekadın station on the M8 Bostancı–Parseller line. The building is reached by a walk of about 600 meters, taking less than ten minutes. Kozyatağı station, where the M4 and M8 lines intersect, is about one kilometer away. Visitors arriving by car can use the center's covered parking garage.
