Kadıköy Eğitim Sahnesi

Set among the streets leading to Moda, the hall of Kadıköy Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Caferağa Neighborhood is opening to audiences as Kadıköy Education Stage. The school building, facing Moda Avenue, is at Cem Sokak No:99, and the hall hosts theater plays and various cultural events. Because it is located in an educational institution's hall, the venue is set apart from Kadıköy's major cultural centers; performances are watched inside the school building, in a simple setting. Since each play's age recommendation is listed on its own event page, families coming with children can choose the program accordingly. As the district has a strong theater tradition, the stage can easily be added to an evening plan alongside the other halls in Moda. From the Kadıköy ferry pier or from the Kadıköy station of the M4 Kadıköy–Sabiha Gökçen line, it is about one kilometre toward Moda, a walk of around 15 minutes at a comfortable pace; those who prefer can also come by a short taxi ride. Moda's cafés, restaurants, the seaside promenade, and other theaters such as Moda Stage are nearby; there are many options for spending time in the neighborhood before or after a performance.
