İBB Bülent Ecevit Kültür Merkezi

Bülent Ecevit Culture Center is located in the center of Kartal, on Ankara Caddesi in Kordonboyu Neighborhood. It is one of the culture centers of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Its hall, where theater, children's plays, concerts, and talks are held, has 356 seats. The hall is arranged in tiers that descend toward the stage: a central block, with side blocks on either side separated by staircases. Wood paneling is used on the ceilings and walls, giving the hall a warm atmosphere. The building is entered through a wide, stepped glass entrance flanked by tall gray blocks. Because it is a medium-sized venue, the distance to the stage is limited; children can see the play closely from the front rows, while those who want to take in the entire stage at a glance may choose the middle or back rows. Kartal Marmaray station is about 500 meters away, and the İDO Kartal terminal is about 800 meters away. For those arriving by car, there is a parking lot operated by İSPARK right next to the building.
