DasDas Ataşehir

Founded in 2017 by Mert Fırat, Didem Balçın, Harun Tekin, Koray Candemir and Muzaffer Yıldırım, DasDas is located on the 2nd floor of the Metropol Istanbul shopping mall in Ataşehir. The venue first opened in West Ataşehir and later moved to Metropol Istanbul. Its program includes theater plays, stand-up shows, concerts and workshops. The venue has four performance spaces: Sahne, Açık Sahne, Alternatif Sahne and Avlu. The largest theater hall has seating for about 400 people, while the smaller stages offer an intimate setting that brings the audience close to the performers. The schedule also includes events for young audiences, such as baby concerts and children's workshops; age limits vary from event to event. The nearest metro station is Mevlana on the M8 line, and it is a 10–12 minute walk from there to the mall. İETT bus 14ŞB, 19EK and 19M from Kadıköy and bus 16M from Üsküdar stop near the mall, and İETT bus 256 from Taksim stops at stops near the mall as well. Visitors who come by car can use the Metropol Istanbul parking lot. In addition to the cinema, supermarket and restaurants in the mall, DasDas has its own food and drink spots.
