Caddebostan Kültür Merkezi

Caddebostan Culture Center opened on December 11, 2005, with a concert by Fazıl Say. It is located in the Kadıköy Municipality building on Haldun Taner Sokak, off Bağdat Caddesi. The Grand Hall, the largest of the center's three multipurpose halls, seats approximately 650 and hosts concerts, panels, theater performances, and children's shows. The seats are divided into three blocks, A, B, and C. The central block faces the stage directly, while the side blocks are angled toward it, and rows are lettered from A to R. The stage, 12.5 meters wide and 13.6 meters deep, is large enough for orchestral concerts as well as productions with big casts. Lighting is controlled from a 125-channel console. Except for children's events, children under 7 are not admitted to the hall. Those arriving after the performance has begun can take their seats during the second half. The nearest rail stations are the Erenköy and Göztepe stations on the Marmaray line. Both are a little over one kilometer away, so from the station you will need a short connection by bus or taxi. The İETT bus lines 4, 16, 16D, and 222 that stop at Caddebostan, as well as the Bostancı–Kadıköy dolmuş minibuses, also run close to the center. The center has a 120-vehicle car park, and a restaurant, bookshop, art gallery, and eight cinema screens are under the same roof.
