Altunizade Kültür ve Sanat Merkezi

Renovated with a restoration completed in 2018, Altunizade Culture and Arts Center is affiliated with the Üsküdar Municipality and is located on Sırma Perde Street in Barbaros Neighborhood. The center's 217-seat conference hall is used as a multipurpose stage thanks to its acoustic arrangement. Children's theater performances, adult plays, concerts, talks, and education programs are held in this hall. The hall, with its red and grey seats, is arranged close to the stage at a 217-person scale; you don't have to sit in the front rows to see the performers. A hall of this size also offers a comfortable setting for children who feel uneasy in crowds or are new to theater. The center also has classrooms for education programs. The Bağlarbaşı station on the M5 line is about 400 meters away; the center can be reached with a walk of a few minutes. The Altunizade metro (M5) and metrobus stops are about 900 meters away, a reasonable walking distance for those arriving by metrobus as well. Nearby, Capitol shopping mall and cafés such as Kitaplı Kahve offer options for meeting before the show or grabbing a bite to eat.
